Roach A Chuck

Just the one match this weekend, a Fish South silvers qualifier at Ivy House Lakes with 23 fishing. I drew peg 5 on Old Match Lake and couldn’t catch any skimmers, so got my head down on the little roach on maggots over a bit of Sonubaits F1 Dark and Thatchers.

I’ve had lots of little fish for 13lb 5oz, which was 3rd overall. It’s fished harder than expected and the skimmers have been really elusive for most of us. Gary Etheridge managed to find some on peg 10, however, and his 20lb was well ahead of everyone else for a well deserved qualifying place.
