I had a really fun day with Ian and Alan at Tunnel Barn last week. These two brothers are pleasure anglers who meet up a few times a year for an enjoyable day on the bank. It was a privilege to show them how to get more out of their swims. We started off with rod-and-line float tactics close in, which is how they would typically fish, then progressed to the finer arts of feeder fishing with a bit of casting tuition. They were also keen to try some pole fishing for the first time, so I kitted them both out with some of my gear and we had a lovely end to the session. It was nice to see the pole elastic stretching as they tempted fish of all sizes down the margins! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I absolutely love these kind of sessions. A fun day on the bank helping two really keen pleasure anglers catch more fish. Thanks to Tunnel Barn for having us. I know they’ll be back for more! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
