I am fortunate to spend a couple of days a year on the bank with my friend Bede, catching a few fish in great surroundings. We have been to some really lovely venues over the years, but I think he has really taken a shine to Packington Somers Fishery now after I suggested he give the place a go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has issues with his hands that makes things I often take for granted a lot harder, so I am always keen to help him fish to his best ability and within his means. We have done a lot of pole sessions in the past but this time we opted for the rod and line. A tricky crosswind made the waggler difficult but we caught a few fish on the bomb over the top and the feeder without doubt was the best tactic. So much fun seeing the rod tip whack around with a chunky Little Gearys inhabitant pulling back on the other end! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A great day spent on the bank in good company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
