Half-term this week, so we\u2019ve just spent a cold but enjoyable couple of hours on the bank. A slow start, as you\u2019d expect after a frost, but that gave us some time to tuck into the soup and hot chocolate I\u2019d sensibly packed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Single and double \u2018magnets\u2019 over a single ball of Sonubaits Supercrush Expander was all we needed to get some action. We fished three sections of my XTR400 pole to hand, with 6-8 Slik elastic, a 0.5g F1 Slim float and size 16 Matrix X2 hook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple and effective fishing. Next time it\u2019ll hopefully be warmer and less muddy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
