I ended up with 65lb with 87lb winning the<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> lake down the other end. We all had a bit of room though, so you never know. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">I caught a handful of fish shallow, a few on the deck but mostly down the edge. I couldn&#8217;t work out what bait was best to be honest, but settled on maggots as had no silverfish trouble whatsoever. As I was warned, the fish were coming in to the peg but not settling and quickly bolting away. I possibly could&#8217;ve had another 20lb for a lake win if I&#8217;d made a few better decisions, but would&#8217;ve needed a few muggers or the wind hacking my way to trouble the match winner. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Well done my hero Nick Speed on the win from the Willows 50 with 115lb.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just the one match again this weekend, so thought I&#8217;d have a long trip up to Lindholme Lakes for the Golden Reel qualifier.
