Half-term Fun!

Half-term this week, so we’ve just spent a cold but enjoyable couple of hours on the bank. A slow start, as you’d expect after a frost, but that gave us some time to tuck into the soup and hot chocolate I’d sensibly packed. 

Single and double ‘magnets’ over a single ball of Sonubaits Supercrush Expander was all we needed to get some action. We fished three sections of my XTR400 pole to hand, with 6-8 Slik elastic, a 0.5g F1 Slim float and size 16 Matrix X2 hook. 

Simple and effective fishing. Next time it’ll hopefully be warmer and less muddy!
