Another Half-Term Mini Mission
Unusually for this stretch of the Thames, we never spotted any fish in the gin-clear water on our latest little mini mission. It felt like winter has come extra early as it’s normally alive with fish in the margins. However, we still managed a couple of perch on a whip, in between the puddle jumping, camouflage making, bug hunting and maggot racing. Then it was back to the nearby pub for some well-earned refreshments.
