Just had a brilliant day out with Jon. As the weather had cooled significantly I thought I was going to get a lesson in scratching around for bites, however this was not the case. Jon showed me how to keep fish coming on all lines, especially the margins while significantly improving my short feeder casting and pole feeding techniques. Jon’s relaxed and informative approach made the day a real pleasure to be on the bank. Days like these are a ‘must’ if you are looking to fast-track your angling skills! – Dave Portas

I have fished Bishops Bowl for five years and never caught as many fish as I caught after Jon’s tuition. Jon showed me that even 1 day a week anglers like myself could catch and compete in matches. I recently took my fishing-mad grandson to the fantastic Tunnel Barn Farm for an all-day coaching session with the 2020 Daiwa Pole Masters Champion and all-round angler/journalist Jon Arthur. Jon is a friendly, informative character, which puts his students at ease. The session is fully inclusive of the method of tackling a commercial fishery instructing on; setup, strategy, catching and etiquette. Despite the cold the session flew by and left both my grandson and I with a renewed passion to get out on the bank again and start catching. My grandson ended up with a net of fish that would have put him in 3rd place in a match taking place on a neighbouring pool. If you have ever played golf you will know that a Pro can reset your game; it’s exactly the same with fishing. Jon charges a reasonable rate for a lot of knowledge and it is worth it to get an insight into the mindset of one of the UK’s premier anglers. – Andy Bashford

The whole day from start to finish was brilliant. Talking through swims, rigs, setup, shotting, hooks, how and when to feed.
