Team Dynamite Top Three

My Team Dynamite quartet dipped on the 10th and Final round of the Tunnel Barn Winter League, but we still managed 3rd overall out of 22 teams, one place lower than last year, so a great team effort.

My final round wasn’t the best, as I could only catch little stockies for 28lb off House 13. It’s normally good for a few bigger fish but no matter what I tried they averaged 4-10oz! Beat a few to my left but I had a proper sore neck watching everyone to my right catching much bigger fish.

Never mind, overall I’ve had a brilliant league individually and got an envelope for the 4th best points in the aggregate. I was technically 2nd individual, though, but they never got my entry money on round 1 so those points were sadly not included. Hopefully they’ll make that clearer next time…

Well done Phil Canning on winning the aggregate and South West for winning the league and of course Sarah, Mike and everyone at Tunnel Barn Farm. Must end by saying a big well done to my Team Dynamite chums Jack Danby, Ben Sharp and Jim Fowkes for another top-three finish in easily one of the toughest winter leagues, with so many top anglers from all over the country involved!
