Sulking After Storm Dennis

A ‘lovely day’ at Decoy Lakes today. About 50 brave souls turned up. I drew Peg 24 on Six Islands with the full brunt of Storm Dennis in my face while everyone else had it off their back or from the side.

I somehow managed to catch 10 F1s and a couple of carp for 36lb. As expected, much bigger weights came from the top end where it was more sheltered. They were probably fishing 16m in shorts and flipflops!

A long way to travel to get that in my chops for five hours. I’m not smiling in the catch photo, my face is stuck after five hours of grimacing!

Getting really fed up of this weather now. If there’s a Storm Errol, Eric or Ebeneezer next week I’m not going!
