Last Redfin Of The Season?
This is possibly my last river roach of the season, so a very nice chunky one to end on!
My local River Cherwell’s a really tough nut to crack. It’s narrow, winding and sparsely populated compared to places like the Thames and Avon. Bites have been at a premium since the floods a couple of months ago and chub have been the only reliable feeders, but there are some nice roach IF you can find them. This place has really fired my imagination and there’s so much of it to explore but so little information on it. Think I’ll be doing a lot more walking and investigating over the close season…
