Tunnel Barn Tinca… and Henrieta!

Nice to see a very rare Tunnel Barn tench during a recent coaching day! I had a really great day with Steve at the venue. We settled on a nice wide peg on House Pool so we could do some rod-and-line work as well as pole fishing.

This lake is often dominated by pole anglers, but Steve proved just how effective the pellet waggler and bomb with 6mm pellets can be for the venue’s carp and F1s. Later on we moved down the edge where there were plenty of tails waving at us, plus that lovely green tinca!

A cracking day. The only slight negative was the stubborn chicken who wouldn’t leave our bait alone and even photobombed our catch shot! 🙂
