Third On The Solhampton Match This
Mega Match This qualifier at Solhampton Fishery today and only my second ever visit. Drew Kingfisher 8 and got it a bit wrong at the start, but a good two hours down the edges on pellets and maggots saw me end up with 130lb 4oz for a lake win and 3rd overall.
I also caught this surprise grass carp down the edge. Apparently it’s the only one in the lake!
Well done Jamie Hughes for winning and Pete Rice for the runner up prize. Great venue. I’ll be back!
