Nice Day On New Pool

I really enjoyed my latest session at Tunnel Barn Farm with Brian. We both set our gear up on New Pool and it turned out to be a really interesting day’s fishing. Brian was clearly a really competent angler, but he enjoys having sessions with coaches like myself for the experience and to pick up some extra little tips and tricks for his own matches.

We concentrated on soft pellets to begin with but a switch to groundbait, maggots and worms down the side also worked well later on. The fish were definitely happiest in the deepest water down the middle channel on the day, but it was fascinating to see how they responded down the margins later on in the day.
