Maver Match This Finalist!

Maver Match This Final here we come! I’ve had a brilliant day up at Hayfield Lakes to win the 23rd qualifier with 151lb! I was on a very windy Big Adams and was told there was a 160lb off Island, but that luckily turned out to be Chinese whispers!

A big thank you to Gaz Simpson for sending me some nice photos from the day. He’s a great photographer and I always enjoy scanning through the albums of pics he takes on a lot of matches in the Yorkshire region. As an ex magazine editor I have total respect and appreciation for anyone who makes the effort to capture what goes on in our matches.

The Match This Final is at Hayfield Lakes on Saturday 2nd September with 25 anglers fishing for the £50,000 top prize!
