Two Inches Thick!

A very frozen Tunnel Barn Farm yesterday with 18 of us daft eskimos all on New Pool. I drew peg 29 and was faced with almost two inches of ice to break. Even my Big Bertha ice breaker was bouncing across it!

Eventually knocked out two channels and was expecting a tough day, so I couldn’t believe it when I had four F1s in the first half an hour. Ended up having a very nice match, in between the strong gusts of wind, winning with 45lb 11oz. All on maggots and a bit of Supercrush Expander and F1 Green.

I think that makes four lake wins in four matches now, so I’m back on track after a horrific winter league round a few weeks back! Hopefully it will make a nice film…

Forecast looks rather grim today so I’ll stick with that for my weekend’s fishing. Hope you all have a good one if you’re out.
