Rest In Peace, Roy Marlow

On Saturday I learnt of the sudden passing of Roy Marlow. Yet another hugely influential fishery owner who created the unique Glebe Fishery and who has done so much for angling on so many levels.

Roy always responded to my messages and was always kind enough to let me coach at the Glebe numerous times a year, along with shooting so many features there over the years. He always came along for a chat and his knowledge of the entire angling industry, from the media side, to tackle, bait and fishery management was second to none.

A kind man who had time for everyone. I will certainly miss him. Rest in peace Roy. I shudder to think how many people will be at the funeral…
