Great Sport (And Cake) At Alders Farm!

Earlier this week Clive and I tackled the fabulous Pines Lake at Alders Farm near Milton Keynes. It turned out to be a cracking day with plenty of carp and a few nice bream gracing the net and plenty to laugh and joke about.

We also caught Clive his first perch for 10 years as none of the commercial fisheries his way have any – and at over 1lb it was a good ‘un!

Other than having a nice day’s fishing, Clive also wanted a bit of help fishing at 13 metres comfortably plus some tips on feeding with a catapult. A few tweaks here and there to his positioning and setup and I know he went away a much happier angler!

Pictured are just some of the fish Clive caught. The day flew by so we were both a bit surprised when we heaved them out! Oh, and I must say the rainbow cake he kindly brought us was top notch!

A big thanks to Trevor Price and the Alders Farm team for looking after us so well. If you fancy a day’s fishing at this fantastic venue, just give me a shout!

Thanks again for a great day!  Can’t put into words how good it is to be comfortable holding 13m. And the tray/bait waiter advice.  Thanks again matey all the best, Clive.
