Evesham Winner!

Struggled on the midweeker at Evesham as my peg 17 was full of cabbages, but tried and learnt a few things for the following visit. Saturday I was back on the river for the Wychavon qualifier. I won the match from peg 64 on a rock hard day with 6lb of small fish!

I caught on a multitude of baits, but maggot over Sonubaits Black Roach and Black River was best. A low weight but thoroughly enjoyed it and felt I fished a pretty tidy match.

I’m now really looking forward to fishing the Evesham Festival next August Bank Holiday Weekend. It has to be one of the best spectator events in the country, so I might see some of you there!
