Silverfish Finalist!

On Saturday I journeyed all the way down to Monk Lakes in Kent for the AT Silverfish qualifier. A disappointing turnout so we were all on Lake 3 with just one qualifier going through to the Final. Thankfully that was me as my 18lb 3oz was enough to win the match and grab the golden ticket.

I caught 50/50 roach and skimmers to 1lb, plus one ide 1lb, all on maggot and worm over Sonubaits Black Lake and Thatchers Dark. Went with a more roach-friendly mix with the addition of the Lake and that did the trick.

Well chuffed to be back in both the big silverfish finals again next year! The On The Flyer Silverfish Final is at Meadowlands and the AT Silverfish Final is at Barston, Feb/March time. Can’t wait!

Thanks mate. Is it greedy to want to win them both? 🙂

Your welcome Jon, no it’s not greedy to want to win them both as you deserve to win them with all the hard work you put into qualifying and you deserve to have your name on the titles
