Feeder Masters Finalist!

I qualified for the Bait-Tech Feeder Masters Final today! A cracking day at a rather windy Decoy Lakes near Peterborough, catching over 170lb of carp, F1s and carassio on peg 10 on Horseshoe Lake to win the Horseshoe/Beastie 20-man zone… and not an end peg in sight! Well done Fabian Arpaud and Steve Curtis winning the other two zones! 

Nice to get the ever-faithful Horizon Pro 10ft Commercial Feeder bent double, catching with Sonubaits Fluoro Bandums and maggots over 2mm Fin Perfect micros doused with Washed Out Bait Booster. Hardest part was netting fish with the 40mph gusts! 

Great to qualify for one of the big ones early, as it helps me clear up a rather congested match calendar! Already looking forward to the final at Upper Tamar Lakes in Devon in September. If anyone has a nice muck heap full of redworms please drop me a message as I think my old one’s disappeared!
