Meadowlands Winner

Yet more wet and windy weather (and a few rainbows) at Meadowlands on yesterday’s afternoon match. Thankfully I was on peg 31 on Warren with the wind off my back, but it was still horrible!

The whole lake’s really switched off so my 94lb was enough for the win. Match organiser Wayne Sharman was second with 75lb 8oz on peg 15 and Dave Roberts was 3rd with 75lb 6oz from peg 23.

I had four or five on the bomb and pellet and Bandum Wafters, one short on pellet and eventually found seven down the edge on corn or maggots.

Nice to get the big boy red 18-20 Slik stretched for the first time this season and the MTX2 v2 was the weapon of choice with the deep and snaggy margins.
